Update 1.0.6L: Story Changes, Safety Menu, Death Improvements, Bugfixing, and more.

Update 1.0.6L.1

This update focuses on creating a brand new intro sequence, improving player damage feedback systems, improving autolooting, shortening the startup sequence, and smoothing over the overall user experience. Featuring a completely fresh and experimental Safety Menu, adding options to toggle any inappropriate or sensitive content, including Gore, bodies, dark loading screens, drug themes, and much more. Previously cut areas have been re-integrated into new death mechanics, which kill the player and transport them to elysia, using new Soulchaser speech lines. Various smaller assets across the game have been replaced, removed, or finalised while preparing for a public release, including SFX, Models, Textures, and Music. You can also 'extract' additional survival loot after each survival wave, giving a consistent output for Construction Parts, O2/Cooling Items, and Power Circuits. Raising the stakes with no extraction loot after you die and move to Elysia, which uses new methods to 'kill' the player (much more stable from the old Beta 5 methods!). Storage Extraction Zone has been enhanced with visuals, hordes fly overhead as turrets fire, using advanced vertex animation tech. Station visuals have been corrected, player elysian clothes are optional, music changes in combat levels, and much more!

  • Player received damage now has more triggers and more enabled features.

  • New post-death location now has Soulchaser, with 3 new speech lines.

  • Each wave now provides a chance to cash-out from each kill so far****.
    **** This chance will end the survival on the current map. Earnings are parts only.
    **** This chance also plays 1 out of 3 new unique voice lines. While the loot spawns.
    **** This chance cashes out parts (cooling, oxygen, power, construction), different from normal loot.

  • New Wave speech has been replaced with 4 unique voice lines, which trigger at a 40% chance.

  • Loading screen tooltips have been updated with some removed quotes, and some new refreshed quotes.

  • New 'Disable Boss Fights' option now defaults to 'Hidden', and works correctly on first spawn.

  • New 'Autolooter' option now defaults to 'Off', and works correctly on first spawn.

  • Experiental fixes applied for Autolooting for further stable behaviour.

  • (Hotfix) Blood UI alpha has been improved behind the scenes.
